These terms and conditions govern your use of solytierra.co.uk (the “Site”) and your purchase of products from Sol y Tierra (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

About Sol y Tierra

Sol y Tierra is a small, independent UK-based skincare brand producing handmade cosmetic products in small batches. Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 working days of payment being received.

Use of the Site

This Site and its contents are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the Site, introduce harmful code, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with its normal operation. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if these terms are breached.

Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Once you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email — this confirms receipt, not acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time before dispatch.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of order. Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are correct at the time of display. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time prior to acceptance of an order.

Consumer Rights

If you are purchasing as a consumer in the UK, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

You have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods (the “cooling-off period”), unless the goods are sealed for hygiene reasons and the seal has been broken. Due to the handmade nature of our products, opened or used items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Unopened items may be returned within 14 days — please contact us before posting anything back.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, branding, and design — is owned by Sol y Tierra or its content suppliers and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce or use it without our written permission.

Liability

We take care to ensure the accuracy of all information on the Site, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, or up to date. Our products are cosmetics, not medicines. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the Site or our products beyond the purchase price paid, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
